A Word About Our Youth Ministry

We are excited about all that God has given us to offer to our youth at the Grifton Free Will Baptist Church. With approximately 60 young people at 19 years old and under, we stay busy and "on the go".

A beautiful, well equipped and well staffed nursery is available each service for our "little ones" under 2 years old. Many workers on our nursery staff have received Red Cross C.P.R. & First Aid training. Our 2 & 3 year olds have a "structured" class each service where they play games, sing songs and learn from God's word.

"Patch the Pirate Club" is a program that our elementary children are involved in on Wednesday nights. It is a tool of ministry that emphasizes Bible memorization, singing, education of Biblical truths and personal devotions. "Pee-Wee Patch Club" includes our K4 -2nd grade children and "Patch the Pirate Club" includes the 3rd - 6th grade children. We also have a wonderful "Children's Church" on Sunday mornings during the 11AM service for our K4 - 4th grade children. Sunday evening classes are also held for youth up to 2nd grade. Finally we must not forget our TEENAGERS! Wednesday night "class" is a time when we get together to pray, learn from God's word, and address everyday situations that are relevant to them personally.

Then there are the activities. Wow! We have FUN!!! All Night Pier Fishing, Bowling, King's Dominion, The Wild's Summer Camp, Survivor Weekend, Vacation Bible School, Corn Maze, Christmas Lights Hay Ride, Gym Night, Pizza Parties, Family Fun Day and Youth Choir are just some of the activities we have annually.
